RobMoore
I was looking at a friend's gear for his old 1911, from many moons ago when he used to shoot Bullseye. He had rubber base-pads on his magazines, almost the same dimensions as the plastic ones that come on CMC mags. They look perfect for Single Stack 1911s with magwells, only he doesn't have a clue where to get them anymore. Does anyone know where to find such a thing? No, the little thin ones Midway sells from pachmayr and glend arms are not what I'm talking about. These are about 1/2" thick, and have a slanted front like CMCs. RodneyLtd
The Metalform base pads are soft rubber and similar in shape to the old style CMC base pads. You can get them from Brownells.
