Thumbs up for Asheville NC USPSA

Planned our vacation like this; wife wants to go camping, I want to go shooting. We compromise with Black Mountain for her and the Asheville USPSA Burnsville shoot for me. Camping was good but the shooting, knowledge, and camaraderie of the Ashville squad really made the weekend for me. My wife only occasionally shoots, and she still enjoyed the group. Language was family friendly, folks were helpful, and the "after shooting lunch" was awesome!

If you're looking for some USPSA action in western NC, these are the folks to talk to.

I have been looking into shooting with that group, but have not had the chance (being that I live on the coast of NC). I grew up around the Asheville area and visit often, but I have not had the chance to participate there. Looks like I will have to try harder to make that happen.

The Asheville NC Club actually shoot two matches every month. The 2nd Sat at the Lake Lure range and the 3rd Sat (I think) at the Burnsville range. I have been trying to get up there more. They are a great group.

I shot with them a few years back. As with MOST of every where else I go to shoot, VERY friendly and GREAT hosts !!!!
