CHOKE Tubes for a Winchester Model 101

Any good shotgun gunsmith should be able to give you an answer. For barrels that are thin they make a "thin-wall" tube. If possible have it threaded for a well known aftermarket thread size. Briley can help you if no one else can.

The barrel wall thickness is the major factor in determining if you can install tubes and which type you use.

Measure the OD of the barrels (at the muzzle) with a micrometer or caliper. On a 12 ga (assuming the bore is nominal .725" -.730") :

An OD of .805" minimum will allow Thin-Wall Tru-Tubes to be installed.

An OD of .825" or larger will accept Tru-Choke tubes.

If your OD is .845" or larger you can add Win-Chokes or Rem-Choke tubes to the mix.
