uscbigdawg Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 (edited) So with the continued laziness of myself to not really loading a lot of ammo, and as a great excuse to build a new gun with the rising cost of components, I started the quest for a dedicated 22 pistol that I could use as a practice gun/Steel Challenge pistol/plinker pistol. In comes this beauty. After a little work and learning that I knew more than I gave myself credit for on putting together one of these things, a local 'smith and I whipped it out. Ordered with the rail and I do have a C-More railway to practice open gun sight pictures. So...here ya go: ETA: Thus far I've put Wal-Mart Federal bulk through it with about 1 jam every 10 rounds. Blazer runs great! American Eagle has about 1 jam every 20-25 rounds. I haven't tried anything else (that laziness thing again) but will be trying CCI Mini Mags and other "nicer" brands this weekend. I think there's a small issue with the slide stop and it activating too early. Don't want to touch the mags. I'd rather grind on the stop first.
