sskp1
I tried a search and couln't find anything so i just figured i would ask here. There is a pawn shop near me that has a 1911A1 for sale with the hardcover blue box and two seven round magazines. It is blued and has fixed sights, it appears to have very little wear on it. They are selling it on consignment for $450. Is this a good deal or is there something to watch out for and i should leave it and go have a :blizzard:. Thanks Kevin
BrianH
Yes, it's a good deal. Colts are running about $850 at the gun shows here.

davidwiz
shred i just got back i screwed up and it is a 1991a1 ownders manual in the plastic case is dated 1996. Owners manual said series 80 and 90 Assuming that the slide/frame fit is not horrifically out of whack, and the finish isn't completely gone, I think it is a good deal. MSRP on a new one (matte blue finish) is about $790. Series 80/90 means that it has a firing pin block. 'Series 70' 1911s do not.
