Triggerbender
In another thread here case volume was put as "VOO-DOO" and I have to agree. I am still pretty new to loading for rifle although I have loaded handgun for 25yrs. or so. I read here that some shoot "mixed" brass. Are you guys not sorting by headstamp when you load and shoot? Just how much difference can there be brand to brand as far as pressure, accuracy and velocity? I saw a chart somewhere and can not find it now that gave case volumes for the different brands. TIA for any info.
D.Hayden
Just my opinion.. but I've never seen enough variation to give it a 2nd thought, for rifle use in 3 Gun. With good bullets I get sub MOA at 200 loading this way (on a 1050). Mostly I use Rem brass and LC.. but I do use them interchangeably. Bench rest shooting with a bolt gun.. that's a different beast.
