dcarter Posted April 13, 2008 Author Share Posted April 13, 2008 Thanks all for your thoughts. She had a nice funeral and I got to see people I hadn't seen in years. My mother had a hard life raising 3 small kids on her own. She worked in a gravel pit for almost 15 years at a time when women just didn't do that kind of work. We (the kids) never did without because of her. I will miss her but she was in so much pain the last year. She was brought back from the brink one other time and ever since then she didn't seem to have any fight left in her. Again, thanks all for your thoughts.
