Tim Egan Posted March 10, 2008 Share Posted March 10, 2008 South East Idaho Practical Shooters will again host the Idaho State Handgun Championship match, September 13, 2008 at Idaho Falls, ID. Match format remains as in past years, 9 stages, trophies and a prize table. Match is a level I match, and will be around 250 rounds in a mix of short, medium and long courses. Nah, just make sure to use brown colored balloons, and I'll shoot 'em down with a couple bottle rockets. Throw some white ones in too, I seem to hit that color a lot. Also - we are considering adding a side match, a steel challenge stage to be shot once the match winds down, and while scoring is getting completed. Any takers pm me. But bringing open gun for side match stuff. Folks, not a problem to change divisions before match day, but Im still contriving the side match. Most likely it wont be shot with your own gun, but if you wanna donate your open blaster to my safe that would be just fine. Im working on squads - first as per requests, but then also trying to put similar divisions and classes together. I'll be posting the prelim squads next week, and will let everyone pore over it and request changes as well. Tim Egan Posted August 28, 2008 Author Share Posted August 28, 2008 Ok folks I think I've got the side match planned: It will be shot with your own gun - so Homie please bring your open blaster. Fixed time, 100yd single target, as many rounds as you can. Gotta work out the par time, but it should be a good challenge. $5 per run, pay back 75% to best scores per division. If you go prone, its gonna be on the sage brush and cactus!! Other thought was two texas stars, one behind the other at 100yds, with rotating no-shoots in between, but we're using our stars elsewhere.
