Brazos SC Shooter
I have seen Dave Matthews band several times live and they put on a great show. Some of my other favorites... Saw Pearl Jam and Jane's Addiction in Austin at the old Collesium, maybe held 3000. It kicked a$$. Also saw Sound Garden on the Loud Love tour at the same place and it too was jammin'. Saw them right after Aqualung came out in '71 or 72. Great live performance!!.
Ledge
TOOL - Vicarious Live Agreed. The show this past summer was like a frigging religious experience. Slayer was the nuts as well. I was at the show that they filmed the Still Reigning DVD at, and it was pretty crazy. Edited March 15, 2008 by Ledge
nwb01
Favorite live performances had to be RUSH at the Gorge in George, Washington, they played 2112 in its entirety. Great concert to see with the Columbia River as a backdrop. Another was an acoustic concert by Neil Young at the Spokane Opera house. For any of you that live in the Pacific Northwest that haven't seen a concert that the Gorge you are missing out on an amazing treasure!!! Favorite live albums have to be................ Iron Maiden Live after Death and Allman Brothers Live at the Filmore East. There are others but those two stand out the most to me.

Pigdawg
TOOL - Vicarious Live +1 If you like TOOL check out The recording is not very good but you can tell that Cristina Scabbia has some pipes. Some of the acoustic stuff on youtube is really good but again bad recordings. The cover of Depeche Mode's is really good.
