BigDave
I just loaded up some 135gr Sierra JHP's in my 40. Man, you pay for them ($14/100), but this is one thing I can say I got what I paid for. They are printing less than 2" at 50 yards. Good stuff.
EricW
Sierra handgun bullets absolutely rock. I bought a box to set up my 44 mag and the results have been very impressive. Fortunately, I have a good source so the price isn't too horrendous. ($16/100 for 300 grain) Sierra needs to see the light and start selling their stuff in bulk quantities to volume shooters. benos
Yea, for some reason 135 grainers in .40 cal., either Sierra or Nosler, are real tack-drivers. be
EricW
Nosler....hmmm.....by the way......if anybody is looking for a super deal on rifle bullets, I bought a box of Nosler J4 Competition .308's and they are superb -- just as accurate as Sierra and they cost substantially less. I got mine at Midway, but I'm sure there are as good or better deals elsewhere.
