titandriver Posted March 22, 2003 Share Posted March 22, 2003 Well hell, the ICFTPOHTTU* blaster is no longer top secret --- thanks Kyle! In fact, this beater has been replaced by a far more advanced pea shooter. Abandonment of this model was due to the propensity of cracked slides. The forward "pulling" effect of this comp was so dramatic that slides would crack from muzzle to breech face! I'll try to post a pix of the offending slide with this post, otherwise I'll send it to Flex for him to post. This thing veritably leapt from the holster & snapped on target so quickly that one would have to video tape the draw & presentation to target and play it in super slo-mo to even catch the smallest glimpse of draw-to-first-shot! Sights are unnecessary due to the refraction of target image through the dual purpose large port at the very front of the comp. The target image "floats" above the first horizontal port, kinda blurry, which makes calling shots marginally more difficult. The next generation pea-shooter enhances target image far better.
