morebullets
I'm looking for some lighter loads for a Ruger 41 mag. I am shooting Hornady 210 gr. XTP's with 20.0 grains of H110. Can I go to 15.0 grains? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
revchuck
It's not recommended to reduce H110/WW296 loads - there have been problems reported with that. Going to a different powder would be a better alternative. An "old standby" for .41 Mag with 210 grain bullets is 9 grains of Unique - it should go around 900-1,000 fps. HSMITH
No, don't reduce H110 more than 3% per the data in the manuals. Pick up some Power Pistol or something like that for your light loads.
JD45
For light loads, you should find some good ones in any data manual for HS-6, 2400, or Unique. I've also found some accurate light loads with Titegroup.
