North
How many rounds should one expect from an S_I platform, just wondering becouse there is an edge in the classified section with about 10,000 though it an no one seems interested. Looks like a good deal, but everyone is staying away and that makes me leary. Thanks http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44251
Merlin Orr
10 K is nothing on a well cared for gun with hardchrome. Hardchrome last a LONG time with near no wear.....
blue edge
I have seen 200k (hardchrome) And still running. Not my gun, a GM freind of mine.
Larry White
10,000 is just a good start and that gun is not a terrible deal with the gear with it. May be just a bit high or just the right person hasnt seen it.--------------Larry
ihatepickles
That particular classified ad needs better pics. People don't get excited about a gun with only 1 picture taken from 10 feet away. The seller should take some detailed pics and market it better. 10k isn't a lot of rounds if it was run with the right springs and decent maintenance. Bear23
I've got at least 60K on my Edge...Still tight and runs 100%.
scirocco38s
I have a 8year old Dawson Signature limited gun long dustcover that has probably 100-120k thru based on my use and the owner before me. It still shoots a 1.5 inch group at 25yds with me shooting. These things are like energizer bunnys, they keep on going. I have replace the fobre in the site about 6 times and the pin in the Bomar 3 times, but other than recoil springs, it is a tank and just as smooth as silk. I dont think you can wear out a limited gun if you take a little care of it
