cmzneb
Will a holster for the G22 work for the G35 ?? having a tough time finding a belt style holster for the G35 . Depends on the particular brand. I like the Uncle Mikes Kydex belt holster, and the G22 holster works fine for the G35
paraman1
Thats what I was looking at . Just need something to get me by for a while and the price is right on the money for the Uncle Mikes stuff . Did you have to make any mods to get the pistol to come out easier ? I heard there was a piece that needed filed or ground on in the TG area to get a smoother draw .
cmzneb
I put a couple of black (metric) plastic spacers that are slightly longer than the spacers that come in there. They spread the holster apart more than normal so that I get a smoother draw.
paraman1
Is the G35 tough to get out due to the longer length , IE pulling your hands clear to your armpits or is the draw OK with the Holster riding that high ? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions .
cmzneb
It works good with the G35 on the draw. I have two of these holsters, and on one of them I bought the Dropped Offset attachment from Bladetech and by drilling one hole, attached it to the Uncle Mikes holster. $10 part from Bladetech. I bought a Bladetech dropped offset holster, and ended up selling it, The Uncle Mikes with the Bladetech attachment is a much better set up in my opinion. R Lewis
I just purchased the "Locking Paddle" from Comp-Tac Holsters here in the Houston area. Fit was outstanding. I really like this holster. Here is their website. http://www.comp-tac.com/
Jaxshooter
Brownells has a nice Kydex Helwig with suede lining for the 35 that you can also use for the 22.
markcic
The Uncle Mikes work well for the G35 depending on the sights. I have a set of Dawsons on my 35. The back of the front sight is right at the bottom of the holster which can cause some issues on the draw. I think I managed to pull the holster, belt, and pants all the way to my armpit. Not fun. With the stock sights everything works fine.
