dukhunt
Need some information on recoil springs. Has anyone had any problems with ISMI recoil springs fitting on a lightening strike guide rod? This is on a Glock 17, ordered a lightening strike stainless steel guide rod with reduced power ISMI spring, and the springs will not fit on the guide rod. Any information is appreciated. If it’s a non- captured rod it will not fit, Their captured rod should work.

What is the weight of the spring? I am using a 13lb ISMI spring with a noncaptive stainless steel guide rod on a G-35. Seems to work fine. It is a bit tricky getting it in the first few times. Have not had an issue with it lasting.
