outerlimits
classifier states "a mandatory reload is required whenever changing arrays". basically, engaged 2 paper, then reload, then 6 poppers, or vice-versa. we had a shooter engage the paper first, reload, then engaged the steel. shooter noticed a mike on one paper wheile reloading, and re-engaged the paper after engaging the poppers. i thought he had fullfilled the requirement by reloading between the arrays, but there was discussion about whether the description implied he needed to reload again just to fire the make-up shot at the paper, since he had already engaged the steel. thoughts? ima45dv8
The text of the CoF: "Upon start signal, engage either Array 1, or Array 2, perform a mandatory reload and engage the second array. Paper requires two rounds each and steel must fall to score. A mandatory reload is required whenever changing arrays." That last line earns the shooter a penalty, per shot fired, up to the point a reload was performed. Edited December 21, 2006 by ima45dv8
