Lee Bell
I've been using Zero bullets from Angus with good results in my 40. Getting ready to start for my 1911 9mm now. I'm torn between the 124 & 147 gr. HP's I don't have anything for those particular bullets, but I'm loading 4.6 grains of Bullseye with 115 grain Zero JHPs for a MV of 1171 and a PF of 134. It's a nice, consistent and accurate round in my Beretta 92FS. Lee
jwat
Go with the 147's, seeing as how Atlanta Arms uses the same bullet it can't be all bad. Too many top production shooters like it.
Flexmoney
There is some confusion... He is looking to run an Open gun. Those 147's are great for a Production gun. Not likely the thing for Open, I believe.
rvb
There is some confusion...He is looking to run an Open gun. ... Ah yes, big difference. Never see enough powder w/ a 147 to work a comp. I retract my earlier suggestion for 147gr. from billdncn "Looking for around 130PF" why not go for major? Or load whatever makes the comp work best, whether it's 130, 145, whatever pf? rvb Edited December 15, 2006 by rvb
