big_kahuna
I say you are good to go right where you are. I assume you aren't FL resizing the brass and watching it for case head separation warnings and such. I wouldn't worry, thats what well built bolt rifles are good at doing. Yessir... neck sizing only to minimize working the brass and ensure good fit to the chamber. Kindest Regards, bk
D.Hayden
Finally loaded and chrono'd.. Hornady 68's with Varget 24.5 - Averaged 2,685 out of an 18" (1in8"). I'll have to walk it up a few tenths..
George
25.0 will be arighty' under the 68/69. Just do walk it in carefully. In an 18, settle for 2700ish, maybe 2750 max and call it good to go! In a twenny' I'd wanna; see 2800ish to work the brake properly and maintain enough V to bust some wind downrange, not to mention work a flasher nicely. Figure on 40-50 fps less per inch of bbl difference from what a 20 inch recipe delivers. YMMV slightly.
