Ron Ankeny
Around here, Bednorz has been 'the man' in Senior for a long time. I don't know Don other than having shot a couple of matches (different squads) with him, and just visiting with him between stages. Not only is he an accomplished shooter, he is really one heck of a nice guy. I have asked him to help me decide how to shoot a few stages and he gives advice freely. Good advice I might add. ima45dv8
I had the privilege of being squaded with Don (and JP of JP Custom fame) at the 2004 Nationals (my only one so far, but I hope to correct that deficiency). He's a true gentleman, and I mean that in every sense of the word. I have to admit when I first met him I thought he was going to be one of the Old-Slow Guys. Good Lord, was I ever wrong! Don't go by looks, folks. He's a monster in sheep's clothing.
Mick
You have to watch closely those crotchety old guys! You've heard the saying about old age and treachery vs youth and skill???? What about a top twenty list for Seniors and Super Seniors???? Mick A27257 "Senior Class" and glad to have lived this long!!!!
GENE S
Tony, I think it could be a good idea. They have the Jr. squad, the super sq., the girls all shoot in one squad, why not a senior sq. ?? I would put in for it. Gene
