maduce
These are 4 of the 15 tanks that those who are shooting the next Tiger Valley 3-gun will see. Among them will be over 30 steel knock downs all made to the scale of 3" to a foot. The man next to the one tank is 18" or six feet high in scale. The shooters will have to shoot from 3 sand bagged positions to be able to see all targets. The guard tower must also be eliminated. The first person to identify all 4 tanks will win a t-shirt and bragging rights. tanks Edited October 18, 2006 by maduce
Mapzter
Too bad I won't be there. For someone who feared one day being face to face with hordes of hostile armor, they weren't hard to recognize Nice touch for a match, though! D.Hayden
Just to be fair.. only 2 are tanks, one's a self propelled howitzer - and I think it's ours, ones a BMP (Personal Carrier). The 2 tanks.. no track support wheels, I'm shooting them! I'll guess T54 for the smaller, T72 for the larger
maduce
Sorry, I should have said armor, but they are all taken from the Marine Corps flash cards which list each name and has a six foot man next to it for size referance. The main gun is the distinct differance between all Soviet Tanks.

D.Hayden
Didn't it used to be really simple, during the Cold War.. no support wheels and it was Warsaw pact? And was fair game to engage? (Ok, sorry don't know all the NATO allies equipment)
