Religious Shooter
Looking for a holster that will fit an STI/SVI with the Dawson light rail and a Surefire or Streamlight TLR-1. Anybody use the Dawson light rail? What holsters are compatible with this set-up?
redwoods
I don't know about the dawson light rail, I haven't looked at it yet, but..... I have an STI Tactical with a surefire x200 light attached and use a safariland holster, but it is a duty holster for police work. A limcat holster would probably allow any light configuration What kind of holster are you looking for? do you want it for carry, limited division, etc? shred
Dawson has some holsters that fit guns with his rail on them, but I'm not sure about the light as well. They probably know who does though.

I'm looking to use it for .... training classes... 3gun or 1 gun night matches... being a mall ninja... etc. For a straight USPSA or IDPA match I don't think they will let me use it in the divisions that I would like to shoot in (Limited/Tactical/ESP). So I'm really more looking for a field type holster. I don't think a holster for an STI tactical will work with an ST/VI with a Dawson rail. That would make it too simple. The rail adds almost 1/4" in height(?) to the dustcover. I emailed Safariland to see if any of their 6004's will work. I'll email Dawson too to see if they have any leads.
