bigbrowndog Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 (edited) does anyone know, or can someone direct me to a person that would know, wether or not the remington 700 bottom metal that utilizes detachable mags, could easily be converted to work on the weatherby mk V action, caliber is 300 win mag. i'm looking at badger bottom metal, with AI mags. the actions are the same length, i'm not real sure on the hole spacing(screws). stock would likely be mac a5 or a3. Remmy 700 in .243, BO DM system and McMillan stock (forget which one off the top of my head). After that, whatever George says. I'm still debating on the glass, but we'll see where it goes.
