Loves2Shoot
For what? In minor I prefer the 147, in major the 124 or 125. If you are running a shorty open gun the 115 might be a better choice. It really depends on what you are trying to do.
bgary
I ran 115s in a "long" open gun for a while. Good, lots of gas, but snappy. In a short open gun, I found 115s *too* snappy - the combination of the quicker recoil impulse and the lighter weight made it downright unpleasant. I pretty much use Montana Gold 124JHPs or Zero 125JHPs for everything, these days...

In point of fact, I've not found anything 115's will do - in .38 Stupid or 9 SillyMetre - that 124's won't do better...other than the aforementioned gas/comp improvement... 'Course, I've never had an issue with concussion...or recoil...or lots of gas...
Harmon
i found 115s to be loud and violent in all open guns ive shot.. i also like a heavier bullet for minor ammo as well. 124-125 seems to fit the bill just right. harmon
