Are they tighter in lockup than the factory barrels or are they close in dimensions?

Mine is slightly tighter than factory. both shoot amost the same accuracy wise.

despite what others say the barrel doesnt shoot slower than factory...still about the same.

the biggest gain is you can shoot lead or coated bullets w/o leading and the case support. my brass looks unfired. NO bulges!

Same load on my factory barrel was a 168.7 PF

KKM was 170.2 out of my G35.

The KKM drop in I installed in my G35 may be just a hair tighter than stock in the lockup department. The difference is very small. Mine just dropped in , no fitting at all.

The KKM chamber is much tighter than stock ( it's just right ).

My KKM barrel fit like it was made just for my G35. Much tighter than I had hoped for.

While the gun was very accurate to begin with, it's extremely accurate now. Money well spent.
