I would prefer one without the lock, but the 610 I have has the lock and I've shot it 1500 times without problems concernig the lock. Anything less than $500 sound okay to ya'll?? Thanks Mac. I removed the lock plate from both, even though I'm sure it would never have been an issue. That price sounds good to me, and you'll really enjoy the gun. Good luck.
