ima45dv8
.....and leaving the damn mags at home. I don't think there's quite as sickening a feeling as reaching in my bag this morning to load mags and coming up empty-handed. Stoopid! Many thanks to Bear1142 (a.k.a., Lumber) for loaning me his and saving my ass.
DMS42
Hey, I've been there and done that. One time I left my M14 mags at home 300 miles away. In those days only military competitors shot an M14 in high power rifle matches and most of them only carried 2 mags. Luckily for me 2 fellow team members had 3 mags so they each loaned my one. It's always nice when someone will help you out by loaning out gear.
ctgun
Had the same thing happen to me. I was at a match about 60 miles from home and realized I left the mags for my open glock at home. I had to take the mag well off and shoot the match with borrowed 10 round production mags.
