DJPoLo
I pondered the appropriate place to post this and decided "Springs" was it since it's part of the recoil system. I recently broke the guide rod on my 1990 Browning HiPower MKII. Now, I'm having a difficult time finding a replacement. Sprinco makes a system that I'm sure is wonderful but I didn't want to spend $80.00 and I've already got a bunch of springs from tuning the gun for different loads. Any leads? -Chet

Eager
There's Browning of course. http://www.browning.com/services/gunpartsprices/index.asp
rubberneck
I would only buy spare parts from Browning with a gun to my head. $95 for a 9MM slide stop? I have no problem with a company trying to earn a buck but their prices for spare parts goes way beyond reasonable.
Eager
I really liked Hi-Powers for a while, but this is one of the reasons I haven't pursued them more. I paid almost $50 for a stock FP stop from Browning 'cause mine broke. And the finish looks like cheap cold blueing.

Flexmoney
Chet, Got a picture of the broken part? (Just curious) [btw, you might get better mileage if we moved this to 'gunsmithing' ?]
