Browning Hipower Guide Rod

I pondered the appropriate place to post this and decided "Springs" was it since it's part of the recoil system.

I recently broke the guide rod on my 1990 Browning HiPower MKII.

Now, I'm having a difficult time finding a replacement.

Sprinco makes a system that I'm sure is wonderful but I didn't want to spend $80.00 and I've already got a bunch of springs from tuning the gun for different loads.

Any leads?

I really liked Hi-Powers for a while, but this is one of the reasons I haven't pursued them more. I paid almost $50 for a stock FP stop from Browning 'cause mine broke. And the finish looks like cheap cold blueing.

Norecoil.com makes some nice recoil assemblies for about $60. I am using a couple of them.

Chet,

Sorry, the Browning buffer has been discontinued and is no longer available.
