ArnisAndyz Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Those of you who have one on a flattop AR... Do you set it up to co-witness with the irons? Do you use a riser to set it slightly above the irons (so the irons are visible in the lower part of the EOTech? Or do you remove the front and rear irons completely? I have it setup that way because it made the most sense at the time so if the SHTF I could use the irons without having to change the cheek weld. It seems to work ok but I'm no 3-gun expert. I forget the name of the guy (Mark Smith?) that originally designed it, but it is available as a flat top mount. I "V" the rear sight when shooting close up stuff.
