TimWarner
Well, we have a few machinists around these parts... Anyone into mold design? A plastic sleeve that could be fixed to a para mag to fit a G20/21 would be a sweet product.
ryucasta
Mahead, Did you experience any problems with your P045 springs? Did you have to modify them in anyway? The reason I'm asking is that in my G20 magazines they will bind at anything over 17 rounds. What’s funny about it is the Wolff Para springs will allow me to load 20 rounds of 40 S&W Long and no glitches. I guess I might have found one of those cases where cheaper is better. Wolff Spring 10 packs $48.00 ISMI Spring $10.25 each.
Mahead
I didn't have to modify anything on them, they droped right in and I have had no problems. How are they binding? Is the spring catching on the transition between the mag body and the extension or are the coils overlapping? also when it happens does the follower stick and stay where its at? ryucasta
The follower sticks and stays in place near the transition area. Was able to do a match today with the Wolff springs with no glitches so I guess I'll stick to those.
Mahead
one thing I did to my mags while I had them apart was to take an xacto knife and trim the excess plastic that was hanging around. I also used some 600 grit sandpaper to make sure that everything was smooth inside.
Flexmoney
bump to top. dwt had two G20 mags welded together to get up to 170mm. Early reports were it worked...not sure about long term yet.
