Very hard ejection (pun unintended)

Update:

The STI barrel did not follow the KKM route. Ive polished the sti chamber enough not to enlarge its chamber and still  does not eject positively. But the improvement is, the fte is now only a stove pipe. It occurs at around 250 rnds starting from a clean chamber. I changed the aftec extractor with a new one but it still stove pipe at about the same round count. I dont know where or what to look into at the moment so for now I will just content myself in boresnaking it every 200 rnds or so fired .

But Im still looking searching for the culprit to effectively solve the puzzle in both guns.

Are you using both springs in the AFTEC?

if you install the AFTEC without the cap and springs and the Firing Pin Stop installed does the extractor hook freely move towards and away from the breach face? If not, the back end of the AFTEC is not fit to the slide or firing pin stop.
