Sealed emitter optics on an SP-01 Shadow slide. Too wide?

This hasn't been discussed in 2-3 years so pardon my starting a new thread. Figured it was time for an update. I'm trying to decide on an optic for my SP01 Shadow. My main hangup is optics vs slide width.

My mandatory requirements for this objective are that it be direct milled (I don't like plates), it must be a sealed emitter, and it must be as durable/solid as possible - this will be used for Run and Gun matches and is absolutely guaranteed to get bashed, fully submerged in water and mud, etc. I've been considering the Acro P2, MPS, and 509T primarily. I'm also loosely looking at the Sig Romeo 2.

Most sealed emitter optics are wider than the SP-01 slide. Does anyone have an Acro or other "fat" optic on their SP-01 and experienced any issues with the overhang getting snagged on anything? Or being a sharp edge and being uncomfortable?

Stuart with CZC shared some pictures with me of the larger optics direct milled to a slide. They stick out some but I do not know if they would snag. I have always used plates which tend to have a beveled or angled edge to prevent that. What did you decide to go with?

I have a smaller Holosun 507k direct milled on my SP01, pics below. It hangs off just slightly. I had the optic cut done by Wager Machine. The same "K" footprint would work with the fully enclosed EPS & EPS Carry. The dimensions of the EPS Carry are 1.62"×1.07"×0.95" & EPS  are 1.62"×1.19"×0.99". They are slightly wider than the 507K at 1.6"x0.98"x0.95"

The 509T (different footprint) dimensions are 1.6"×1.16"×1.13" so you can imagine slightly more overhang and compare these numbers with the other optics you were interested in.
