Machinist for reloading die

Recommended Posts

Does anyone who lives in Arizona know a local machinist? I have a lvl 10 innovations priming support die i messed up on the measurement asked for a .558 and it wouldnt fit in the rl1100 tool head hole needed it to be .561 i live in Glendale. Your help would be much appreciated.

You might consider opening up the hole a little, it would be a simpler operation.

You are only talking about 0.003, you could probably knock the paint off of the inside of the hole and it would fit, maybe with a strip of sanding material spun on a dowel.

Or 9/16" is only 0.0015 too big, a simple drill bit would be cheap, and could maybe just be turned in by hand.

But I would hone out the hole with something like 120 grit wrapped around a dowel rod or something, you are so close... 👍
