It's got a very good 2.5+- lb. trigger, but she recently started running her Kidd 10/22 again with its 1.5 lb. trigger. Consensus is that 2.5 is about as good as the basic 22/45 ignition geometry supports. Any gunsmith out there that can do better? Barring that what are there options for a purpose-built 1911-22 that doesn't weigh more than the Mamba? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Farmer Posted May 15, 2023 Share Posted May 15, 2023 When I installed the trigger kit in my wife’s MkIV it was right at 2 lbs. I actually re-installed the factory spring to bring it up to just shy of 3 lbs. I’m sure it can be done. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
