Nick_shoots_fast
I have a buddy who has one that I want to buy but it doesn’t come with a beaver tail. Just wanting to see if anyone will work or it has to be PT. PT is struggling to get parts and don’t see one on their website
vtecpaoche
Not exactly the answer to your question but I dug up a spare beavertail that I had in the parts bin and it fits in the Cheely metal grip. I suspect a standard beavertail fits in the Evo grip as well. I may have a loose Evo grip on a new build that I’m working on that I need to dig up. I may be able to confirm that. Balakay
Despite being a parts company, they surprisingly will not sell you a spare beavertail. One of my guns with a PT grip has a non-PT beaver tail.It may be an STI. It works fine but I would have preferred a perfect fit.
zzt
The Cheely beavertail GS is specific to the Cheely grip. So is the mag release. I tried to fit a Cheely GS to a 1911 and it didn't work. It bound the hammer strut.
Skeeter44
My PT grip’s beaver tail doesn’t fit right straight from the factory lol. It drives me nuts!! The factory STI one actually fits better, so I would think you could use any beaver tail.
