223 Redding Comp Seating die too long for 1050/1100

Bought a Redding comp seating die to load 223 in an 1100.  The collar thing hangs too ow and knocks the bullet off coming into the seating station.

 

Is there a fix for this or another micrometer seating die that works?

That’s what I use on my 1100 without issue.  Do you have enough adjustability to unscrew the die and screw in the seating adjustment to get your OAL?  If I remember correctly that’s what I had to do.

I would find some help is setting up that die.  I use it as well in my 1050 with no issue.

I'll try that, but are you loading with 55s or longer 75s and 77s?

Fingered it out.  Its been 15+ years since I set up one of those dies and I forgot about the internal adjustment.  Working now with 77s
