Russty
I just found out about the 92 x Takedown lever, part # C5J480. It has a pedal for indexing your left thumb, which I want. It also fits my older Taurus 92, which is also cool! Only problem is that it's out of stock at Beretta and Midwest Gun Works. Aaargh!
Stony Lane
Give them your email. The part has often been coming in and out of stock.
Russty
I did. This post is more about, "Hey, there is a cool, inexpensive thingy for your Beretta and Taurus that you could try", than bemoaning the fact that they are currently out of stock. I'm patient. dgl503
If you signed up for the notification it came back in stock last night on Beretta's site. Out of stock by this morning. I was able to pick one up. https://www.beretta.com/en-us//gun-accessories/handguns/kits-parts/competition-self-locking-disassembly-lever-for-90-series-full-size/?ItemNotifyId=407144
Russty
I was on Beretta and MGW lists. Snagged one today for my Beretta. Will get a second one if it fits my Taurus 92.
Russty
Came today. Works ok in my 92. The fit is good, went into my gun just great. The issue is, it really doesn't project out much, so more of an indexing aid than a recoil control aid. Which, again, is fine. CraigS
I can imagine that they did a lot of debating as to how wide to make it. The 92XPerformance will likely be using those skeleton holsters so a big thing sticking out the side of the pistol is OK. I have been thinking of getting the 92X Defensive for idpa and I think I'd have to change or grind that thing a lot to fit my existing holster.
