tk71
I use acme 125 grn fp with crimp groove but i noticed now they use a 125 grn fp with no crimp groove. Has anyone used these or this type of bullet and what crimp do they use.
twodownzero
I use a taper crimp in all revolver cartridges.
AlbertCampion
I assume you're using for 38/357. Likely Acme wanted one bullet for 38/9mm to speed production, 9mm uses a taper crimp. Suggest using either a Lee or Redding taper crimp die after seating the bullet. Note do not over crimp.

All of my 38 spl have a moderate crimp into the crimp grove because they also get shot in lever action rifles (CAS). This is to prevent bullet setback from the magazine spring. For a straight sided bullet, I would probably try a moderate taper crimp (38 Super FCD comes to mind). tk71
I shoot a 357 single action revolver 125 grn fp acme coated lead light crimp in the groove 4 grns titegroup. These bullets shoot really good. I use a lee die set using a fcd roll crimp for the last step. The new bullet is flat point no groove.
