TS2 Slide on Shadow 2 Frame

Does the TS2 slide fit on a Shadow 2 frame as is (without modifications needed in gen 1 TS and SP01 Shadow)?

guide plug area of TS2 slide is to wide for Shadow 2 lower, so some work in the dustcover would be needed.

I built my longslides based on TS slide, and SP01 Shadow frame in 2012 and 2014. Love them both. They were very rare back then. With so many offerings from CZC now, Bull Shadow, A01, CTS in 75 and sp01 frames, this topic is less talked about now.

In fact, my longslide back in 2012 was probably 6th or 7th such build overall in SP01 Shadow frame. This is excluding the offerings from Europe, Frankonia and Waffen Oschatz etc.

 

Since work is required on these gen 2 Pistols as well, might be cheaper to go the Bull Shadow route. Or a similar ready to go offering from CZC.

What czc did by adding a bull barrel to these guns is genius. They took a great design and made it better… my opinion.
its the one thing that I crossed my fingers cz would add somewhere down the road. They kinda dropped the ball in the TS2 it would have been the prefect gun to put a bull barrel in.
