darthdively
So I'm debating on getting a Delta Point Pro. I have not shot with one yet. I have been running a RTS2 on my carry optics gun and I had one on my previous Open gun. I was looking at getting a new RTS2 on my second carry optics gun but I noticed that they are very close in price to the DPP. I'm looking at getting the 6moa-dot DDP and was wondering if anyone here had experience with both optics. I like my RTS2 because it is very reliable for me and a name I can trust. But, I'm open to trying other optics. I was looking at the FTP Alpha 3, which is basically an RTS2 but with slightly taller and more squared off RTS2. But I haven't seen it around so much to where I am jumping towards it yet. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
Boomstick303
From the sounds of it the new board design is legit and seem to have fixed the issues they have had in the past. The thread mentioned someone had the new one with 20k rounds on it with no issue. For this reason I bought 2 and intend to put them to proper use to see how it goes. darthdively
Okay. I got the 6 MOA DPP. It has the new blue board in it. I will see how well it works. I went ahead and took off the metal shroud to remove excess bulk in my field of view. I called Leupold and they said that it was totally cool to remove it and it would not void the warranty. I stated this in case there are other people that may be wondering about it. Thanks for your input Boomstick303!
BadShot
My issue with the DPP was too small of a dot and when shooting with the sun in your face, it looked like there were 2 dots. The 6 MOA should fix the first issue. I wonder if anyone else had that issue...
