JoeSoop
I have been running SRPs for my 9mm open gun for the past year. I recently was able to pick up about 7K of these Fiocchi SRP Magnum. Anyone use them? Any issues? Just reduce my loads by .1 grains? NOSHMJ
Those primers are in fact just plain old small rifle. The box is labeled magnum, but Fiocchi says they are considered just small rifle. I tryed them, they work. They are a little hard tho, my limited gun gets light strikes on them about 1 out of 10. My open gun is similar. I would consider them good enough for practice. They do work just fine in my buddies open gun. So maybe try em and see how they run for you. I didnt reduce my loads either.
AHI
Most small rifle primers use the same priming compound. The main difference between standard and magnum is a slightly harder cup with magnum. If your pistol will set them off they will work. I would load a 100 and test before loading a lot.(thousands)
