Rifled Jag?

anyone have experience with these rifled cleaning Jags?

Should follow exactly the contours of the rifling and clean the bore much better than ordinary jags.

you choose the jag in your caliber, twist rate and number of grooves.

A solution in search of a problem.  How would you align the jag with the rifling anyway?  The multiple layers of patch cloth make the rifling depth of ~0.004" irrelevant.  If you're worried about clean, use a Parker Hale jag; they really engage the bore.

I agree.

 

Notice that he was demonstrating on a blackpowder rifle and cleaning from the muzzle without a muzzle type bore guide.  How does it work on a modern rifle?

Well, I ordered one for my SIG 551 SWAT 5,56x45 rifle, so we’ll see.
