Rob Boudrie
Any USPSA member who enters their profile with email address into the USPSA web site (see www.uspsa.org/members and select "password and profile management" to set yours) will automatically receive an email whenever a match which includes their USPSA member number as a registered competitor is uploaded to the USPSA web site. This means that clubs won't have to collect email addresses and manually send notices if they want to tell their competitors the results are ready - just use the USPSA on-line system for posting results and this will happen automatically. driver8M3
that's a nice feature. now we just need to get more clubs to enter club match results on the uspsa site...
Rob Boudrie
We currently have 135 clubs which use the USPSA on-line results service for local matches. The key to getting more clubs to use this is customer demand. The process itself is far easier than postinging it manually on your club's own page (but many clubs do both). The combination of auto-emailed notices, and a WAP based page will enable shooters with cell phone that are WAP enabled and receive email to receive updates on their scores during the 2006 Area 7 Championship. We haven't figured out the exact schedule yet, but we'll probably update on-line scores every 2 hours duing the match. Rob

wgnoyes
?? Don't associate members have numbers? Cindy re-up'ed as an associate to my membership and she still has her TY number.
Flexmoney
Yeah...they have member #'s. But, they need a password to get into the USPSA site. They don't get a Front sight, so no mailing label/PIN for them.
