And I noticed when I put it on the rail set lower then the ArmaLite upper. Is this because of the rail? What? is ArmaLite uppers different? The higher section in usmc1974's pic is the receiver. The Armalite pattern receivers i have dealt with take a high pattern rail. Guntec doesn't specify high or low but, it looks like they are using DPMS low rails. The reference links for which height you need are good. Barrel nut threads are the same. The rail heights are different. I believe you are right, this is what I was afraid of. because opticsplanet don't do refunds. so Iam kind of stuck with it. Still it don't look too bad I guess.
