Anyone using On Point MFG enhanced tool head?

Recommended Posts

Just ordered the enhanced tool head from On Point MFG, curious is anyone uses it?  I'll be switching the stock tool head for just processing brass and the On Point to load ammo~  Immotorbot, sells one for $250 ouch!~

I just picked up the one Bobcat Armament sells. Because Immortobot was out of stock. Looks almost identical. Very happy with it so far. Having a extra die slot over the primer station.

Interesting, I thought Bobcat was out of stock?  Awesome, how are you liking it compared to the stock Dillon tool head?

So Bobcats website says out of stock. But when you look closer it says to order it and it will drop ship to you in a few days. All in all it took about a week to get it.

I like it a lot. It's quite a bit more well made then the stock Dillion toolhead. I wanted to seperate as many functions as possible.

My setup is this:
Station 1: Lee Universal decapping die
Station 2: Lee Undersize sizing die no decap
Station 3: Redding Expander die
Station 4: Powder Drop no expantion
Station 5: Mr. Bullet Feeder
Station 6: Dillion Seating Die
Station 7: Lee Factory Crimp Die

Awesome setup, but I am curious isn't station 2 the swage station with Dillon swage die case holder in place? Oh wait, I'm thinking about Dillon stock tool head which basically doesn't have a station 3 but a hole with no threads... 🤨

Yep. I found that out the hard way. Luckily didn't bend anything . But it is a bummer. I need to figure out another way to stop the case feed or modify this to work.

I have the CNC toolheads from Immortobot, I have some of the OPM toolheads and some others. They all work well, just depends on what you want out of the different toolheads. Getting the station over the primer station is imperative if you are loading IMHO

I process all my brass before hand for loading.

Rollsize

FW. Arms universal self centering decapper

FW. Arms swage back up

station 4 is www.thejudgedie.com with sensor to catch all the stepped brass

station 5 is dillon size die (I NEVER undersize, its a bandaid, and wrong. Rollsizing brass is proper BEFORE sizing)

Loading

Lee Universal decapper to catch anything that may of gotten in there

Lyman M die in primer station

MBF powder funnel in 4

MBF bullet feeder in 5

Redding micrometer seating die

dillon crimp die

Ya. I would love to get a rollsizer. But can't afford right now. So bandaid it is.
