Gunsnjeeps
Worth it or extra appendage? Have a Stoeger M3K Freedom series, extended tube 10+1. On a related thought, opinions on recoil reducing weights? If yes, mercury or solid?
MustangMan
Match saver yes, an extra round on the side of your gun can save you if you miss count or have too many make up shots and run dry with 1 target standing.
recoilchamp
I haven't seen talk of recoil reducing weights for the m3000. Since it's inertia driven, though, I imagine too much weight could reduce reliability.
JimmyZip
I was thinking about ordering a wood buttstock as added weight to reduce felt recoil. However after running a few cases of hot loads through it at break in, I barely feel the recoil from anything 1300 and lower. Ran drills on a steady basis today and I was not feeling beat up like I did when I first got it.
