Real newbie to 9mm  guys.  Bear with me.  reloading. Recently purchased a couple of pcc...but am a relatively experienced reloader.  What i am experiencing at the range has me in a bit of a conundrum. Bought a new Beretta Storm and a Ruger Pcc.......And 1000 rounds of Blazer 124 grain.  Also completed a number or reloads.  What has me baffled is the recoil difference (MUCH heavier on factory Blazer) (i have NOT chronoed) between the top end of reload data and the factory Blazer rounds.  My question is....is pcc so new that industry has not caught up and load data for pcc is behind the times ??

The load data for pcc isnt behind the times, rather the market forces for factory 9mm is overwhelmingly for pistols between ~3 and ~5 inches. The primary 9mm customer is not shooting it in a 16inch barrel.

I recommend using a slower burning powder for your pcc, i.e. VVN340 over VVN320, chrono your rounds, try different bullet profiles and OALs to determine what feeds best in your gun.

A fast powder will not produce the same velocity as a slower powder. Next, A slower powder will produce more gas and give higher velocities in longer barrels.

Odds are your using TiteGroup or other FAST powder and CCI is using a normal slower powder.
