Middle Man
I wanted to cut through all the surrounding discussion on the monster thread we've created. I only poke fun at Randy because I'm Igor to his Dr. Frankenstein! So do the villagers love it or will they drive it from their hamlet with torch and pitchfork in hand? Headshot45
I would ask my dealer to order one for me....just hate the idea of spending that much money to only have to ship it to Randy to make it complete, but.....I am a dumb redneck, so I will buy one. In case you aren't sure if I am a dumb redneck, last week when Hurricane Katrina came through my neck of the woods down here in south Florida, I actually spent over $70 on ice to save $40 worth of food..... Genghis
I'd like a 4" variation that would be legal for both USPSA and IDPA. Cost would be a factor.
Round_Gun_Shooter
Since my dealer is also my customer and sells to me at his cost, I think I can figure a job he will need to pay for it So, yes. One maybe two depending of what he needs, (or what his wife needs) Regards, (Barter is a wonderful thing)
Nemo
My vote's not in because I'm in the "I'm not sure yet" bunch.
Waltermitty
I'm jonesing real bad for a new .45 ACP revolver. I've almost gone down and ordered a 325 PD & another 625 just so I could have pieces and parts to play with. I just hope I don't come across my "dealer" at a weak moment. FL Wheeler
Hey Headshot45 I think I did that last year in Orlando. Not so dumb when you don't know when your food will run out. I owned a 625 that did not like me. I sold it because it had too many mikes in it. I bougth a 686-6" that shoots much better but making major is a challange. I will probably be in the yes column on this new one.

hopalong
There is not a spot for "Still thinking about it, depends on the price" but that is where my vote would go. Sorry, I know you did not want to hear that. HOP Odds are I would most likely pick one up if it was 1000 MAX
Randy Lee
Maybe they will be on a prize table somewhere? Hey HOP, The beneficial fallout of this whole project maybe that Smith will have some new cylinders available for sale to the general public. Middle Man
Not sure is closer to a yes than no...look into your personal crystal ball and tell me what you'd do if you saw one on a dealers shelf in Feb 2006.
10mmdave
Hey Middle Man......since the engineers design in 3D software, what's the chance of getting a rendering of this prototype beast posted here Could wet the appetite of those fence sitters And hey!! shouldn't be that big a problem making a 4 inch run of brls for the IDPA folks. Middle Man
Well, we're still in the investigation, market research phase here, design renderings won't come until after the order is placed. The napkin sketches just won't cut it for public consumption at this point...
