New guy from Kansas

Hello.

 

I could swear I had posted before introducing myself. But I searched and apparently have just been lurking forever. I’ve been shooting for about 6 years and would like to start competing and doing more training. Residing in North Eastern Kansas.

 Where do you live in NE Kansas. 

I used to live in Valley Falls. 

 There used to be some matches in Topeka. I forget the name of the club. 

It is on the north side of 24 hiway

Capital City Gun Club, Topeka, KS, has the Capital City Practical Shooters USPSA & Pistol Shooters IDPA, also have Steel Challenge.

Mill Creek Practical Shooters USPSA & Steel Challenge De Soto, KS.

Also there's an indoor club up around St. Joseph that shoots ICORE.

Your site shows you joined in introduced yourself in 2014 and were building a Glock 17 in May 2016, looks like CCPS is a good start as soon as the weather gets better.  

The Gun Garage in Topeka is hosting a GSSF (Glock Pistols Only) Indoor Match Saturday March 2nd.   It's  just off of Hiway 24 across Hiway 24 from Tractor Supply. 

If you still have that Glock I think they're shooting from 4 pm to 8 pm.
