Hnemes
As the title says, have y'all made one using like a limited 10 80% frame. If so, was it worth it or would you of rather spent the extra money on a professional built 2011?
HOGRIDER
In case you decide to do your own, Mosin has a pretty good set of videos documenting his process....... Good luck!
Hnemes
His series is what lead to me posting this, i was curious if it was cost effective seeing as how you can pick up a ckarms for about 2500.
Aiden
How high are your standards? Do you just want a gun that runs? Will it be a backup gun? Do you want fancy slide cuts or classic serrations? Are you patient?
Hnemes
I’m pretty patient, and I want the gun the run it doesn’t have to be fancy looking as long as it runs and shots accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CHA-LEE
How much building an 80% 2011 will cost totally depends on how much you wreck during the process. You can get 100% 2011 frames for pretty cheap so I don't see the need to get an 80% frame.
APL-G35
I don’t see the need unless you have to cut it to a certain dimension. A buddy and I are going to get one to fit to a slide on an already built gun. We are both CNC programmers and machinists with access to machines though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would say start with a 100% lower if you're looking to build for the first time. It's more or less good to go and wouldn't require you buying a jig or milling anything. They aren't significantly less expensive, unless you have access to tools/fixtures already. HOGRIDER
For a slide and frame that is already fit, this would be my first choice! https://www.jemguns.com/ https://www.jemguns.com/other-services Have heard a lot of great things about their products! And they're a Texas company! Edited December 5, 2018 by HOGRIDER More Info
